Baseball

Baseball success on the field, off the field, and in the classroom at Manitowoc Lincoln High School is a cooperative effort between players, coaches, and parents. Our players enter our Junior Ship feeder program at a very young age and consequently we develop very strong character teams, along with winning baseball games.  The transition from the feeder program to high school baseball is seamless!  We have 3 teams at our high school lead by 9 very motivated coaches to help guide our young players and help them to become better baseball players, but more importantly better teammates and young men!  Our upper-class players serve as mentors to the younger players as we continue a tradition of excellence for the Manitowoc Lincoln Baseball program!

The baseball season officially begins in late March and ends the end of May.  Our Varsity baseball team attends spring training in Vero Beach, Florida at the Jackie Robinson Training Facility.  During this time, our other two teams participate at practice in our amazing indoor training facility.  We have access to state of the art training equipment, four batting cages, and two full size infields within the confines of the beautiful JFK.

Our teams play approximately 26 games per season, with a tournament at the end of the season.  The home fields for our program is Municipal Baseball field, Dewey Street Field, and Red Arrow Park.  Our program was very instrumental with the construction of the 2 million dollar baseball complex at Citizens Park.  Since the construction of this park in 2016, our participation numbers have grown steadily and more and more young boys are involved with the baseball program.

If you have any questions regarding our entire program, please feel free to contact Bruce Steinbecker, Head Baseball Coach at any time.
