Hello, my name is Ben Ruechel and I am thrilled to serve the Lincoln High School students and staff as the Associate Principal! I have been an educator for the past 7 years and the past four school years have been here at LHS.
I grew up and graduated from Oconto High School in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in both History and Spanish. In my time at UW, I also played linebacker for the Wisconsin Football team. After receiving my Bachelor's Degree, I continued my education in Madison and earned my Master's in Curriculum & Instruction.
While not at school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, time with my family, and supporting Ships co-curricular events.
I view each and every day as an opportunity to work with the best students any educator could ask for. My goal is for all LHS students to leave Lincoln a better person than the first day they walked these historic halls and to positively impact their communities.
