Football

The Manitowoc Lincoln High School Shipbuilders Football Program is grounded in the history and work ethic of this great community. Just like the Shipbuilders of the past at both Lincoln HS and at the shipyards in the city, we are building a program that focuses on process above all else. The product of success is an outcome, not the focus. Success and championships are created by holding high expectations of every member of the program on and off the field.

Student-athletes interested in participating can compete at the JV2, JV1 and/or Varsity level in a given season. The football season begins in early August and runs through November. Players are placed on one of the three teams based on their ability and performance throughout the season. Players are expected to attend off-season training programs created and monitored by members of the athletic department and coaching staff. There will be FIVE days of practice held between the months of June and July each summer.

All teams play a full Fox River Classic Conference (FRCC) and non-conference schedule. Practices are held weekdays after school between, Lincoln High School or Rubick Field. Practices last for approximately 2 hours - 2.5 hours. The football teams play home games at Rubick Field (Located at the Corner of Grand Avenue and 23rd Street).
