Forgery & Attendance

Forgery

Forgery involves a false document, signature, or other imitation of a document used with the intent to deceive another. For example, forging another person’s signature on a document is a material alteration because it misrepresents the identity of the person who signed the document, which has serious legal consequences. Forgery is a serious offense, punishable as a felony in all fifty states and by the federal government.
Falsifying information on any work experience document may result in being dropped from the class with a grade of “F” and potential further punishable action by the employer. A meeting with administration, school resource officer, work experience teacher, counselor, student, and parent will be scheduled to discuss the consequences and next steps.

Attendance

Good attendance is extremely important in school and for future career success. Start good habits now by being in class on time and every day. Excessive unexcused absences from school may result in the temporary loss of your early release privileges.
