Golf

The coaches of the Manitowoc Lincoln HS Boys Golf program believe that we are building a championship program by offering relevant and intentional practices, but more importantly encouraging more students to go out for the team.  We feel that golf is a life-long sport, and everyone should have the opportunity to learn to play and improve their game.

The boys' golf season starts in the first weeks of April and runs through May. Players are placed on one of the three teams based on their ability and performance during practices throughout the season. Teams are open to all freshman, sophomore, junior and senior students. The JV and Varsity teams play a full Fox River Classic Conference (FRCC) and non-conference schedule.  Members on the practice squad will participate in at least one invitational during the season.

Practices are held every night after school at Branch River Golf Course starting at 4pm. Practices last for approximately two hours. The golf teams play home matches at Branch River and Fox Hills
.  Any players interested in the boys golf program should contact Varsity Coach, Chris Grodek to get on the pre-season e-mail list. There will be a boys golf organizational meeting in February. Further details will be explained at the organizational meeting.
