A tour is your opportunity to get a firsthand view of a college or career. Most importantly, it can help you decide if the college or career is a good fit for you! Opportunities include college and company tours, information sessions on admissions, financial aid, academics, student life & more!

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC)

University of Wisconsin Milwaukee-FULL!!! Friday, December 14th Space is limited to 25 students! *Bus will leave at 9:15am and return by 3:30pm Career Expo Wednesday, January 9th All sophomores will spend the morning at the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc and the afternoon at Lakeshore Technical College. This day focuses on collage and career exploration.

Bellin College's Mobile Hands on Healthcare Monday, February 4th Bellin College's Mobile Hands on Healthcare Lab will be at LHS. Students get to rotate between stations participating in hands on activities, and trying out some of the latest healthcare simulators used in college healthcare programs. Students enrolled in healthcare classes (i.e. Health Occupations 1 & 2, Med Term, Anat & Phys.) at LHS will automatically be attending, others are welcome as well. See Mrs. Proszenyak in room 130 to sign up! Heavy Metal Bus Tour Thursday, February 7th 8:30am-2:45pm This event provides 10th-12th graders with the opportunity to see up close and personal the great career opportunities available in manufacturing. Students spend the day touring 4-5 local manufacturing companies and have the opportunity to hear from industry professionals. YA Info Night Monday, February 11th 7-9pm Sophomores, Juniors, and Parents are encouraged to attend to learn more about the Youth Apprenticeship program and the application process. Hear from employers and students who have participated in the program, meet your High School YA Liaison, and more! Lawrence University & Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) Thursday, February 14th Registration deadline is January 30th! Space is limited to 30 students! *Bus will leave LHS at 8:30am and return by 3:30pm University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Tuesday, February 26th Space is limited to 30 students! *Bus will leave LHS as 9:15am and return by 3:30pm Marquette University and Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Thursday, March 7th Space is limited to 30 students! *Bus will leave LHS as 7:30am and return by 3:30pm Reality Store Tuesday, March 19th The Reality Store is a simulation program which students identify their career interests, research a specific career, and receive a mock checkbook with the monthly income entered for the specific career. Students learn about the impact of the educational choices they make today on their ability to enter various occupations and support various standards of living in their future. All sophomores participate in this activity. LTC Career Quest: Public Safety/ Healthcare Friday, April 5th *Bus departs LHS at 8:20am and will return by 2:45pm An event at Lakeshore Technical College for high school students interested in Public Safety and/or Healthcare careers. Manitowoc County High School Job Fair Thursday, April 11th 12:30-3:30pm Students have an opportunity to network with area employers and learn of openings in our community. This event is put on by the Chamber of Manitowoc County and takes place in the LHS JFK. LTC Career Quest: Ag, Energy, Transportation, & Business Thursday, April 25th *Bus departs LHS at 8:20am and will return by 2:45pm An event at Lakeshore Technical College for high school students interested in careers in Agriculture, Energy, Transportation and Business.
