College and Career Exploration Opportunities!!

A tour is your opportunity to get a firsthand view of a college or career. Most importantly, it can help you decide if the college or career is a good fit for you! Opportunities include college and company tours, information sessions on admissions, financial aid, academics, student life & more!

Reality Store Tuesday, March 19th The Reality Store is a simulation program which students identify their career interests, research a specific career, and receive a mock checkbook with the monthly income entered for the specific career. Students learn about the impact of the educational choices they make today on their ability to enter various occupations and support various standards of living in their future. All sophomores participate in this activity. LTC Career Quest: Public Safety/ Healthcare Friday, April 5th Registration closes 3/29!! *Bus departs LHS at 8:20am and will return by 2:45pm An event at Lakeshore Technical College for high school students interested in Public Safety and/or Healthcare careers. Lakeland University Campus Visit Tuesday, April 9th *Bus departs LHS at 8:20am and will return by 12:45pm Manitowoc County High School Job Fair Thursday, April 11th 12:30-3:00pm Students have an opportunity to network with area employers and learn of openings in our community. This event is put on by the Chamber of Manitowoc County and takes place in the LHS JFK. LTC Career Quest: Agriculture, Auto, & Energy Thursday, April 25th *Bus departs LHS at 8:20am and will return by 2:45pm An event at Lakeshore Technical College for high school students interested in careers in Agriculture, Automotive, and Energy. LTC Career Quest: Business & Information Technology Thursday, April 25th *Bus departs LHS at 8:20am and will return by 2:45pm An event at Lakeshore Technical College for high school students interested in careers in Business and Technology. Bellin College's Mobile Hands on Healthcare Monday, April 29th Bellin College's Mobile Hands on Healthcare Lab will be at LHS. Students get to rotate between stations participating in hands on activities, and trying out some of the latest healthcare simulators used in college healthcare programs. Students enrolled in healthcare classes (i.e. Health Occupations 1 & 2, Med Term, Anat & Phys.) at LHS will automatically be attending, others are welcome as well.
