Head Varsity Cross Country Coach

Carthage College, 2007

Head Coach Experience:
12 years (9 years at LHS)
What is your favorite memory as an ATHLETE? My final college cross country race when our team had the best Regional finish in school history and I was able to run a significant personal best time to become an All-Midwest Regional athlete which was a dream goal of mine. What is your favorite memory as a COACH?  So many great memories with some many individuals... but to pick a group my first class of freshmen I had back in 2008 that I was able to coach for all four years. They broke my school record in the 4x800 relay at the state meet when they podiumed in 2011. I was able to coach that year with my wife and I am able to share this coaching memory with her so it makes it additionally special to me.
What is your favorite food? Chocolate Cake What song on the car radio will you not turn off even if you are at your destination? All I Want by A Day To Remember
 What is your favorite snack? Cheese and crackers
 What is your favorite animal? My cat, he is the coolest.
 What is your favorite professional sports team? St Louis Rams (greatest show on turf!) What is your favorite vacation spot? York, Maine What is your favorite season? Summer
What is your favorite sports quote? Pain is temporary, pride is forever.
