Forensics

Forensics is... the art of public speaking.  It is an extracurricular activity made up of a diverse population of the student body who share an interest in oral expression. Students try out for their positions in the fall and then begin to prepare for the late winter/early spring tournament season.  Students meet once a week with their coaches as well as having a few large team practices to fine tune their speeches.  Students compete in various categories at 6 different tournaments.  Students wishing to further their speaking talents may compete at the regional tournament to qualify for national competition.  This student organization helps youth become effective communicators.
