High School students learn about dental health professions― including dentist, dental hygienist, dental assistant, and lab tech―in this one-day workshop.
The agenda includes: hands-on activities, information on the prerequisites needed to apply to dental training programs and admissions preparation, and additional opportunities for furthering their interest in a dental career.
NWTC is hosting the event in partnership with NEWAHEC and LTC.

Click HERE to register!High School students are invited to experience a day as a Lakeshore Technical College student in our Advanced Manufacturing career area. Join us in our Nierode building, part of our KOHLER Center for Manufacturing Excellence. Learn about precision machining equipment and careers in the machining trade. Program, set up, and operate a CNC machine. Create a personalized precision part from raw material. Lunch is included. Students are responsible for their own transportation and must have a parent excuse them from LHS classes.

The mobile lab will feature these careers: radiology, physical therapy, ultrasound, virtual anatomy exploration, CPR/Emergency room, and nursing care. Students will also have an opportunity to try out VR goggles - thanks to the Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center (NEWAHEC) and LTC.
