The goal of this course is to give students a more in depth look at the health care field.  The major areas of study include:  body systems, bone structure, muscles, medical terminology, diseases and landing a job.  Students will be engaged in learning about each of the body’s systems as well as performing hands on activities to enhance this learning.  Throughout the course students will receive a realistic look into pursuing a career in the health field as well as key information for landing a job.

  7. CPR certification and basic First Aid

***To help students achieve a more in-depth understanding of body systems and muscle systems they will actively participate in Anatomy in Clay.  This process uses clay to create each system on a skeleton and actually bring it to life.
***CPR certification does require an extra minimal fee for the processing of the certification card.
