Hello My Name Is...
I am the school psychologist at Lincoln High School, Monroe, and Jefferson Elementary. This is my 13th year in the Manitowoc Public School District and I was a school psychologist in Marinette for 2 years before moving here. Working with students at the elementary and high school levels is what I love best about being a school psychologist. To optimize my work I often consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals. In addition I help evaluate students for special education qualification and to determine if additional services are needed.
My husband John and I have 2 daughters; McKenzie is in 6th grade and Olivia is in 4th grade. We love to travel and visit places we read about like the home of Laura Ingalls Wilder in Mansfield, Missouri. In June we went to Eastern Europe to visit the birth place of my Grandmother. We also enjoy biking, camping, and gardening. We have a cat named Tiger who has a delightful sense of humor and despite his age (5 years old in February) remains as playful as a kitten.
I grew up in Beaver Dam, WI and attended Marian University where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. I earned a Master's Degree in School Psychology from UW-Whitewater. I am an avid runner, and enjoy singing, reading, and writing in my spare time.
