Youth Apprenticeship

Youth Apprenticeship is a program, open to juniors and seniors, that combines paid, on the job learning experience that brings meaning to classroom instruction.  Business mentors verify mastery of skills in these rigorous programs.  You are selected for the program based on your interview with potential business partners and you application which includes attendance and academic records. Positions are limited since everyone must have a business partner.

Applications will be available mid January and due mid February 2017.There will be an informational meeting January 30, 2017--7-8:30 pm in the LHS Auditorium.

:  Large Animal, Small Animal/Vet Tech, Water Resource Management, Agricultural Mechanic

Construction:  Carpentry, HVAC Technician, Plumbing, Electrician, Masonry/Concrete

Financial Services:  Accounting, Banking, Insurance

Health Services:  Certified Nursing Assistant, Dental Assistant

Hospitality, Lodging, Tourism:  Lodging, Food/Beverage

Information Technology:  Info Tech Essentials

Manufacturing:  Industrial Equipment Maintenance, Welding, Machining, Wood Production, Production, Assembly/Packaging, Industrial Painting

STEM:  Engineering Drafting

Sales and Marketing:  Marketing, Sales and Merchandising

Transportation:  Automotive Technician, Diesel Technician
